The Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is the evolution of the Bay Street Film Festival. For 12 years our festival and activities were located on Bay Street. In February 2017 we moved to the Trinity United Hall at 310 Park Avenue, a location that is bigger and better suited to our needs. The move necessitated a new name and this gave us a chance to rebrand. We will continue with our film festival in September and our film screenings throughout the year, but we have decided to embrace other forms of digital media and we welcome the opportunity to get creative. For example, we have been experimenting with a 360° continuous screen using projection mapping and we will be offering a series of media arts workshops over the course of the coming year. It is a challenging and exciting time for media artists and Vox Pop is on the cutting edge. Sign up here for notices of our future events.
