Bay Street Film Festival screens the Thunder Bay premiere of “Asphalt Watches” on Thursday, March 6th at 8 p.m. at 314 Bay Street (above the Hoito).
The feature animation is a true cross Canada road trip adventure written, directed and produced by artists and filmmakers Shayne Ehman and Seth Scriver, and completed in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won “Best First Canadian Feature Film” and is currently touring as part of TIFF’s “Canada’s Top Ten” and at international film competitions. The film is rated 14A and is not suitable for kids. (Contains coarse language, violence and cartoon nudity).
The screening will follow with a Q&A with Shayne Ehman and Seth Scriver. and dance Party with screening sponsor New Day Records. Coffee with Screening sponsor The Bean Fiend Coffee and Sandwich Bar . Cash Bar. Tickets are $7 or Pay What You Can.
